Dennis A. Christiansen
Dennis Christians brings more than 30 years of experience to Secured Retirement Strategies Group in qualified plans, nonqualified executive retirement benefits and bank-owned life insurance (BOLI) plan designs. As a member of the executive leadership team at Bank Compensation Strategies, and later Clark Consulting, his expertise offers clients a clear and trusted perspective of the potential risk exposure to long term care (LTC) on their retirement strategies.
Dennis’s interest in pursuing the development of a new start-up company at age 63 was motivated by the solution he and his wife found for their LTC needs. Seeing friends and family experience the difficulties that LTC issues presented, they took a serious look at the options available to resolve LTC risks.
Surprised at the simple, efficient and effective solution that properly designed products provided, he realized that many of his past retirement planning clients needed to hear about these products and become educated on their LTC exposure. Beyond the risk exposure to individual assets, the risk to their retirement lifestyle and the lifestyle of their children were significant driving concerns to start this company.
Dennis earned a Bachelor in Business Administration degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. He has been licensed in life and health insurance since 1976 and has provided presentations on executive compensation and BOLI to many financial institution groups around the country.
Residing in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin with his wife Kathleen, they have four daughters and eight grandchildren who all live in the area.
